Steven Berelowitz, LL.B

Steven is a highly experienced lawyer and investor with over two decades of experience in the technology and start-up industry. He has provided strategic counsel to entrepreneurs and tech companies, assisting them to raise venture capital, navigate complex legal and financial issues, and grow their businesses through equity financing and mergers & acquisitions.

In his current role as a partner at Welltech Ventures, Steven’s primary responsibility is the overseeing the due diligence of potential investments, leading the transactional negotiations and fund compliance. Prior to joining Welltech Ventures as a partner, Steven was the Chief Legal Officer at AYRAD Investments Ltd. advising on investments in early and growth stage tech companies.

Previously, Steven was a partner at Hamburger Evron & Co., a leading law firm that is now a part of Erdinast Ben Nathan, Toledona & Co (EBN), where he gained extensive experience in various legal practice fields, including corporate law, cross-border transactions, M&As, specializing in tech companies.

Throughout his career, Steven represented and accompanied angel investors, venture capital funds, entrepreneurs and tech companies from ‘start up to ‘exit’, advising on investments, equity and debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings. Steven is an expert in the industry, with a strong skillset in early-stage startups, venture capital, equity financing, legal, and M&A having worked with and advising some of the most successful entrepreneurs, technology companies and startups in the Israeli market.

Steven has a LL.B (cum laude) in law and business from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where during his studies, he also worked as assistant to Professor M. Rabello at the Harry Sacher Institute for Comparative Law.
